Der mit dem ARD-Fernsehpreis „Die Goldenen Europa“ ausgezeichnete Musiker, Komponist und Produzent – von der Süddeutschen Zeitung als „deutscher Komponist mit Weltformat” gerühmt – setzt neue europäische Musik- und Werk-Impulse. Dafür stehen über 2 Millionen verkaufte Tickets seiner Werke wie z.B. „Qi“ (Berlin), „Elements”, „Hexen”, „Hänsel & Gretel“ (Friedrichstadtpalast Berlin), „POE” (München), „Paradise of Pain” (Saarländisches Staatstheater & Theater Trier), „Arena” oder “SnoWhite”. Seine Interpretation des klassischen Nibelungen-Mythos mit dem Titel „Der Ring“ wurde im Dezember 2007 an der Bonner Staatsoper uraufgeführt und schaffte es, Wagner-Liebhaber und Musical-Fans gleichermaßen zu begeistern.

Frank Nimsgern schrieb bis zum heutigen Tag über zwei Dutzend Filmmusiken, darunter die Musik für bisher neun Folgen des TV-Dauerbrenners „Tatort“, den PRO7 Mystery Thriller „Hepzibah“, „Helicops“ etc. sowie diverse Werbetrailer, unter anderem für Carlsberg USA, Peugeot, Schwartau, Karlsberg & Langnese. Für Chaka Khan war er von 1994 bis 1996 als Musical Director tätig. Als Session Musiker spielte er über 35 Alben ein und absolvierte an die 1.200 Konzerte unter anderem mit und für Gino Vannelli, Billy Cobham, Pete York, Superdrumming und John Lord. Mit seiner eigenen Band, der Nimsgern Group, reiste er für das Goethe-Institut durch fast alle Kontinente dieser Erde mit Auszeichnung in Jakarta.

Der Titelsong für die Daily Show von „Siegfried & Roy“ in Las Vegas „Can you see the light” stammt von ihm. Sein Musical „POE“, das in Zusammenarbeit mit Heinz Rudolf Kunze entstand, wurde mehrfach ausgezeichnet. Als Musical Director / Supervisor war er unter anderem in London (als Consultant für „Daddy Cool“) und Las Vegas tätig, brachte fünf Produktionen am Saarländischen Staatstheater auf die Bühne, präsentierte POE in München im Rahmen des Tollwood-Festivals, produzierte gemeinsam mit der Bonner Staatsoper und war als Supervisor in Berlin unter anderem am Friedrichstadtpalast, TUI Cruises und für das Classic Open Air tätig.

Die Welturaufführung der von ihm komponierten Orchester-Suite „Ocean of Love“, Hymne des Luxusliners „Mein Schiff“, wurde 2009 von Opernstar Anna Netrebko gesungen und aufgenommen. Anna Netrebko konnte damit erstmals für das Werk eines zeitgenössischen Komponisten gewonnen werden. „Ocean of Love“ ist Teil des Albums AQUA, das von Frank Nimsgern exklusiv für TUI Cruises mit dem Deutschen Filmorchester Babelsberg produziert wurde.

PHANTASMA hiess Nimsgerns neuestes Musical, das seine Premiere am 7. November 2009 am Saarländischen Staatstheater feierte. Das Opernnetz schrieb über PHANTASMA “So muss heute Musical gespielt werden”. Die SZ kommentierte „Nimsgerns bislang reichste, kurzweiligste und raffinierteste Komposition.”

Noch bis Ende Juni 2010 konnten sich Besucher des Berliner Friedrichstadtpalasts von seinen Kompositionen in die phantastische Welt von „Qi – eine Palast-Phantasie“ entführen lassen. Die von Presse und Publikum gleichermaßen gefeierte Show zog bis zum heutigen Tag über 550.000 Besucher an.

Ab 22. Mai 2011 wurde Nimsgern “SnoWhite” täglich auf der “mein Schiff 2” der TUI Cruises Schiffsflotte mit Hannelore Elsner aufgeführt. Ebenso komponierte und produzierte er den Titelsong für Video der CARE-Hilfsorganisation mit Jessi von den No Angels, Sven Martinek oder Klaus Wowereit. Oktober 2011 brachte er mit Sebastian Welker eine neue “Rocky Horror Show” reloaded version am Staatstheater auf die Bühne.

Am 2. September 2012 wird „SnoWhite“ im Opernhaus Bonn in einer kompletten Relaunch-Version Premiere feiern. „SnoWhite“ am Theater Bonn wird die erste Co-Produktion eines staatlichen Theaters mit seiner eigenen Produktionsfirma On Stage sein.

Farbenblind, Color blind, a song for the nationwide student network “School without Racism – School with Courage”, the result is a casting of the Saarland schools without racism. Frank composed the music Nimsgern, Aino Laos, wrote the lyrics, sing Philip Allar, Sarah Hamm, Viviana Milioti, Tuka Tajali, Roni-Berfin Yalgin as soloists and Kristin Backes, Giovanna Domante, Leonie Wood Jeffifer Issa, Kay Ludwig. Niethammer and Julia Eva Salm.
The video turned Nils A. Crauser. The idea came from Dr. Burkhard Jellonnek, Head of the Regional Center for Civic Education. The CD-Rom is available under LC 12 937.

The Ensuite production has been staged by Arthur Castro, and produced by Dr. Thomas Schmidt Ott. The playing time will be once a week for at least 3 years applied. Story

Selmer, 1509: An ancient legend, the beautiful and mysterious Hepzibah lived 500 years ago in Selmer. To them and a deadly curse are more storied. Because of their healing arts, she was also decried as a witch and was eventually burned at the Schweiter heap.

Berlin today, three days before her 18th Kirsten finds birthday (Eleanor Tomlinson) found that it is adopted and her biological parents are from Selmer. When Mary (Finn Atkins), her older sister, she confirmed this outrageous news that shocked Kirsten hastily traveled to their homeland.
