Based on Jacques Offenbach’s fantastic opera „The Tales Of Hoffman“, this musical is a modern tale about the high price of fame. Frank Nimsgern has once again succeeded in composing passionate and spectacular music amalgamating elements of classic, pop, rock, R&B and jazz. Paris, London, New York and Chicago are the impressive settings for flamboyant times gone by, brought to life with extravagant rhythm and dance. The immortal show vampire is on a painful quest to find his inner peace. A famous female TV presenter and an eccentric professor are just two of the colourful characters that accompany Phantasma on his emotional journey. Im Zentrum des Musicals von Frank Nimsgern steht Giorgio Phantasma (Mischa Mang), der größte Show-Star aller Zeiten, der nach langer Bühnenabstinenz sein Comeback feiern soll. Zuvor muss er allerdings der Moderatorin Brenda de Ville (Aino Laos) in einem Interview Rede und Antwort stehen. Hat Phantasma für den Erfolg sein Herz an den mysteriösen Professor Marvel (Darius Merstein-MacLeod) verkauft? Rührt daher sein sagenhafter Erfolg? – Ist er wirklich verdammt zu dauerndem Unglück und Leid? Welches schreckliches Geheimnis umgibt den Show-Star? Phantasma nimmt Brenda mit auf eine Zeitreise zurück zu den Stationen seines außergewöhnlichen Lebens: In das mondäne Paris des Can Can, wo er sich in das künstliche Wesen Marionetta verliebte; in die wilden 30er Jahre Chicagos als seine Geliebte Julia vor seinen Augen erschossen wurde, und ins Pop-New York der 70er Jahre, wo seine Frau Antonia ihm zuliebe nochmals singt und deshalb sterben wird.
